Expansion of collaboration to include participant management

From raw material to packaged medicine: the Dr Willmar Schwabe Group is global market leader in the research and production of herbal medicinal products, known as phytopharmaceuticals. Since its foundation in 1865, the family-run company based in Karlsruhe has developed into the world market leader with over 3,600 employees and a turnover of over 900 million euros.

Broadening Collaboration

As a professional service provider, meetingmasters.de strives to constantly optimise its customers’ event management. Collaboration with the family-run pharmaceutical company Dr Willmar Schwabe has also been enhanced. Originally limited to purchasing conference hotel services, our cooperation has been expanded to include the use of our participant management system.

Kristina Valerius, for instance, brought moreEvent to her customer’s attention last autumn. With the introduction of our “comprehensive tool for participant management”, we were able to further professionalise the Schwabe Group’s participant management. Before the launch, Mrs Keller's team invested a lot of time putting our versatile tool through its paces.

An initial introduction took place at MICE connections 2018 in Frankfurt. The meetingmasters.de team demonstrated the web solution for participant management at interactive workstations. Two further online webinars with Simone Wick, project manager in the event service at meetingmasters.de, left no questions unanswered. The next step was to provide the Schwabe Group with a fully functional test subdomain that could be used to simulate various scenarios and outline practical applications.

Mrs Keller took advantage of the “meisterkurs” workshop on 5 February 2019 in Stuttgart to talk with meetingmasters.de about her experiences with the “comprehensive tool for participant management” and to discuss questions in a personal setting.

Successful launch of moreEvent

The “meisterkurs” workshop in February had not been over long when immediately in March 2019, the first event using moreEvent took place with 60 participants. Further sales force conferences followed in June of the same year. The Schwabe Group now organises a total of four to five conferences per year using our comprehensive tool for participant management. Support Angel Kristina Valerius, of course, continues to handle the purchasing of conference hotel services.

By working intensively with the user-friendly web tool and with the competent support provided by Ms Wick, Mrs Keller has meanwhile become a “moreEvent expert” herself and organises her events independently. The Schwabe Group is the perfect example of how the web-based purchase of hotel services and digital participant management work together to achieve the greatest possible reduction in workload for the customer.
